Wrinkles are a fact of life, no matter how we feel about them. Worse yet, they are not just connected to age, but also to person’s lifestyle, skin type and many other factors. This is the reason why a lot of women are on a constant lookout for effective remedies for this problem, especially when it comes to purchasing products that claim to help in reducing wrinkles. While many of these do an excellent job, there are also ways how home-made solutions can be tried and tested.

For wrinkles that are smaller both in depth and length, there is a simple mixture that helps out. With it, the skin (usually around the eyes) can be hydrated, refreshed and cleared off from signs of wear. Even more importantly, the things needed are a chicken egg and a bit of almond or olive oil.

To make it, the yoke of the egg should be extracted and combined with a single teaspoon of either olive oil or almond oil. If you have one, add a single capsule of Vitamin E. The mixture should be gently mixed until it becomes more or less homogeneous. Then, using your fingertips, apply it gently on the wrinkles using tapping and massaging.

But, be very gentle while you do it because you do not want to cause any additional damage. Once applied, the mixture should stay in place for up to 20 minutes, after which is should be rinsed off using lukewarm water. The idea behind this combination is the fact that the yoke is full of protein and useful cholesterol strains, allowing for faster skin regeneration. Olive oil offers a combined hydrating-regenerating effect, while the almond oil possesses astringent properties, meaning it can be used as a subtle chemical exfoliating compound.

Do this before going to bed for ten days and the result should become visible. Of course, deeper wrinkles will not be affected as much, but the smaller lines should improve substantially.
